No I’m not talking about Marvel planning on re-releasing their SuperPro comics again(Thank God!!) but I’m talking about how this upcoming SuperBowl will be showing a bunch of trailers for a lot of comic book movies. Just showing how everyone’s trying to be a nerd now, but I’ve been playing this game for a very long time..

So the last picture that I posted showing the cast of Matthew Vaughan’s(Kick-Ass) X-Men prequel, X-Men: First Class wasn’t actually suppose to be seen and was considered a leak by Fox Entertainment and forced them to actually release pictures to promote it. Here they are.

Earlier today the first picture of Matthew Vaughan’s X-Men prequel, X-Men: First Class was just released leaked, showing Xavier and his X-Men. I must say I do like how they interpreted the classic blue and yellow costumes but you can check them out for yourself after the link.

Yes Marvel is making it’s own theme park

Back before Disney bought the rights to Marvel Comics, Marvel Comics made a deal with property developers, the Al Ahli Group, in Dubai to build a $1 billion Marvel Superheroes theme park. The park is going to be built in Dubailand which if none of you guys know is a entertainment complex that is already in the process of being built which is going to be 20x the size of Disney World and will feature the top theme parks including one by Ferrari(They’re going to have the worlds fastest roller coaster which you can see here). An interview with Darren Aronofsky on directing the ‘The Wolverine’

Darren Aronofsky(Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, Black Swan) has been chosen to direct the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Now I don’t know about you but I find Darren Aronofsky to be a great visual storyteller and The Fountain still remains to be one of my favorite films period. And it’s even more interesting to hear that he’s teaming up with his cinematographer Matthew Libatique once again to continue Logan’s story as he travels to Japan to face off against foes like The Silver Samurai and the Oyabun family. Here’s a video with Darren Aronofsky talking about his thoughts on why he was chosen to direct a big action movie like this.
